Description
Not sure how these are made since this is a smooth ledge rock that sits over Lake Superior on the North Shore of Lake Superior. This is the first time in 6 years living here I have seen an area that seems like frozen bubbles. They are round and I am not sure if they are hollow but the seem to have a dark center. There has been nothing to have caused the round shape. I open to any of my friends whom might know the answer. Right below the rock is the freshly made ice shards. They are made when the lake crust freezes and then the wind breaks into pieces and then they move around in the lake water.
