This photograph celebrates the arrival of my very first lupine grown by seed in my garden. I spent the last five years trying to grow lupine in areas of my yard and never had a seed sprout until last year. By the end of summer the seedlings grew to about three inches and then finally this year a few of them bloomed. All the seeds I planted here for the last two years have now sprouted in the gardens that I placed them, I can't wait to see what they look like next year when more will have flowers. This very exciting!
