Description
The story of Adam and Eve in the Bible say they ate a bite of the apple. Interestingly today there is question about the translation and that apple might have been a pomegranate. This is a photo of a nearly ripe pomegranate. They do look kind of like an apple. Apples don't grow in the Middle East either so I vote with the pomegranate.
