This bluejay looks stately perched in this pine tree. The sun is back lighting him or her to set him off from the pine boughs. I can tell sex for the blue jay since both the males and females look the the same as far as I know. The color banding on its wing with light blue, white and darker blue looks like a designer created it.

Thanks Yeshuas Child Art Studio for the lovely comments. The lighting is what attracted my eye to the bird in the pine tree. Nature does a better job of lighting objects than we do when we try!
