Lake Superior has had its most frozen winter for a long time, in fact last week it was 90% frozen over.To really understand the amazement of viewers it is the deepest of the Great Lakes and this photo is of some of the ice shards that collected by the shore. You can see the actual thickness of the ice here. That ice changes colors with the sunset and sunrise. Lake Superior has lost most of its ice today from rain and southern warmer winds. Every day is different!
