Description
Welcome to the North Shore in Lake Superior. The lower duck is a Golden Eye and the duck above is a Common Merganser. These are the first duck I have been able to photograph that were too far out for my camera. We see mergansers most of the summer but golden eyes ten to be in smaller lakes where the breed. Wish them well as they are on their way to summer place.
