Description
All though this doesn't look like spring, don't tell the sandhill cranes. They are feeding on the corn left in the fields to gain their strength before they fly north. This place has been on my bucket list and did not disappoint. They visit the North Platte River each year in the spring with numbers over 300,000 during the migration season. It is a birders delight for those with binoculars and those with cameras!
